When you’re feeling low or overwhelmed, it can be hard to know how to cope, this may make you feel like this is the only way out. You don’t have to go through these feelings alone.  Let someone know that you are not feeling safe or are struggling a (parent/carer or a trusted person or a professional helpline.) 

If you are feeling distressed and suicidal it is important to get immediate support.

  • In an emergency call 999 and ask for an ambulance

  • If you are with anyone else let them know you need help

  • You can visit your local A&E department

  • Talk to NHS 24 on 111 and select the 'mental health' option
