We need your support now more than ever – Help us help our community
Dumfries and Galloway Health and Social Care need your support now more than ever.
The combination of our community now all trying to access services that have finally been allowed to resume, an influx of respiratory and bugs that would normally peak during winter, staff still having to isolate due to COVID, new posts being created to tackle the effects of COVID such as Contact Tracers and Vaccinators have left us in a critical situation, not just in our hospitals but in our community services, care homes and care at home services.
We know many of you stepped forward at the start of the pandemic and fortunately were not needed. This was due to us being able to mobilse staff across our services that had been suspended into areas where they were most needed. This allowed us to contain the spread around our community and stop putting people at risk.
That risk is now limited, our services are back up and running and we need your support.
